The River City Stompers are a collection of musicians from the Thames Delta who have come together to bring you the finest vintage jazz from the 20's and 30's. Taking their inspiration from the Hot Five recordings of that time you could expect to hear music from the likes of Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver and Bunk Johnson to name but a few. With banjo and sousaphone for their rhythm section the River City Stompers recreate the early days of jazz in New Orleans.
